One man is facing a number of charges relating to weapons, break and enter tools and drugs following a traffic stop yesterday morning.
At approximately 9:00 a.m., April 20, 2021, Patrol officers observed a suspicious 1999 Ford F-150 in the 100 block of Hedley Street and conducted a traffic stop. A loaded, imitation firearm, a knife, crystal meth and pipes were located inside the vehicle. Officers also discovered a catalytic converter, saws, grinders, cutters and other instruments relating to break and enters and theft. The male driver was arrested without incident.
A 40-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2), Carry a Concealed Weapon (x2), Possession of Break and Enter Tools, Possession of Methamphetamine and Breach of Conditions. Further charges are pending.
