Two teens were arrested last night following reports of an aggravated assault and robberies.
At approximately 11:50 p.m., April 21, 2021, Saskatoon Police were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at an apartment in the 1400 block of 20th Street West. Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old woman suffering from serious but non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services. It was reported that the two male suspects involved, armed with a knife and a gun, were also responsible for two consecutive robberies following the assault. Police located two suspects nearby fleeing on foot and placed them under arrest. One male was found in possession of a knife and an imitation firearm. He was also believed to be under influence of alcohol. The second male was found with the suspected stolen property and a knife sheath. A knife was located discarded nearby.
Two 17-year-old males are facing a number of firearms offences and charges including Aggravated Assault, Robbery and Possession of a Dangerous Weapon.
