One woman was arrested last night in connect to an assault.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., April 27, 2021, Patrol officers were dispatched to a weapons call at an apartment in the 100 block of Avenue O South. Initial reports stated that a male and female entered a residence and assaulted a male occupant, believed to be known to the suspect. Upon arrival, a 35-year-old man was located with a stab wound. He was transported to hospital by Medavie Health Services for treatment of his injuries, which were believed to be minor in nature. The female suspect was located in a nearby residence and fled on foot. She was arrested following a brief pursuit. Officers believed she was under the influence of an intoxicant. On her person, the suspect was found with knives, ammunition, a credit card belonging to another person, hydromorphone, Xanax and Dilaudid pills.
The 36-year-old woman is facing 12 charges including Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Break and Enter, Carry a Concealed Weapon and Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm.
The male suspect is described as being 5’11” tall, clean shaven with short hair. He has tattoos on his forearm and neck and was wearing a red and grey hat.
