Three people are facing charges following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit into a cocaine dial-a-dope operation.
Through investigation, members of the SPS Drug Unit observed activity consistent with drug trafficking on numerous occasions. As a result, on January 9, 2021, three people were arrested from two different traffic stops with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit. A 22-year-old man was arrested from the first traffic stop and taken into custody without incident. A second traffic stop was conducted and two men, ages 20 and 34, were taken into custody. As a result of the arrests, search warrants were executed on two vehicles and at three residences (Clark Crescent, Palliser Court, and Childers Crescent). In total, Police seized 422.3 grams of cocaine, $5,585 in cash, and 5 cell phones.
Two men, ages 20 and 22, are charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000. The 34-year-old man is charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Cocaine. (Court Info #'s: 991150818, 991150815).
