One man was arrested last night following an incident involving a firearm.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., April 27, 2020, Patrol officers responded to a weapons complaint at a bar in the 2400 block of 22nd Street West. A male suspect had reportedly pointed a gun at a group of people in the parking lot and assaulted one individual with the firearm. A canine track was conducted and the suspect was quickly located, attempting to hide in the hedges near the business. He was arrested without incident and a loaded imitation firearm was also located in the hedges.

A 26-year-old man is facing a number of charges including Assault With a Weapon and Pointing a Firearm (x3).
