Two men are facing charges after a disturbance at a hotel and an evade police incident yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 4:30 p.m., April 29, 2021, Police responded to a hotel in the 100 block of Stonebridge Boulevard to a report of two men engaged in a physical altercation. Initial information stated that the altercation started inside a hotel room and then moved outside to the parking lot before one party got into a vehicle and fled. The SPS Air Support Unit quickly located the vehicle and observed it driving erratically and at high speeds. A high-risk traffic stop was eventually conducted in the area of Airport Drive and Claypool Drive. The driver was charged and two other occupants of the vehicle were released. Following further investigation, police attended back to the hotel and arrested a second man, 34-years-old.
The 30-year-old driver is charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Evade Police. (Court Info # 991159565)
