A Saskatoon teen is facing more than a dozen charges after being located with various weapons last night.
At approximately 10:40 p.m., May 11, 2021, Patrol officers observed a male biking on the sidewalk without a reflector or headlight in the 100 block of Avenue P South. When officers attempted to stop the male, he fled on his bicycle. The suspect stopped in the 200 block of Avenue P South where he was arrested without incident. He was found to be concealing an imitation firearm on his person. Inside his backpack, Police located a second imitation firearm, a face mask, three knives and a machete.
A 16-year-old male is facing 12 firearms/weapons-related offences, as well as Obstruction.
