One woman was arrested yesterday after she was reported to have been seen with a firearm.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., May 26, 2021, Patrol officers were dispatched to a weapons call at Avenue B North and 27th Street West. Initial reports stated that a female was seen with a gun during an altercation with other individuals. Upon arrival, Police located and arrested the female suspect nearby, without incident. She was found in possession of an imitation firearm, a knife and various identity documents belonging to other people.

A 36-year-old woman from Leask, SK is charged with a number of weapons and firearms-related offences as well as Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Possession of Identity Documents Relating to Another Person (x5).
