On January 3, 2021, at 8:32 a.m., Saskatoon Police Service received a call regarding a motor vehicle collision at 500 Circle Dr South. Officers attended to the scene and located a vehicle abandoned, severely damaged, in the westbound lanes of Circle Dr South, just east of the Gordie Howe Bridge. Upon checking the vehicle for any injured parties, nobody was found. However, ammunition was located in the vehicle, and footprints were located leaving the vehicle through the snow heading towards Diefenbaker Park.
