Three people are facing a number of weapons-related offences following a call to Police last night.

At approximately 8:10 p.m., June 9, 2021, Patrol officers were dispatched to a shopping centre in the 3500 block of 8th Street East. It was reported to SPS that three individuals were seen carrying pepper spray. Officers located the suspects walking in the 200 block of Parkdale Road. Bear spray, a knife and a hatchet were located in their possession. All three were taken into custody without incident.

Two men, ages 27 and 24 and a 64-year-old woman, are all facing numerous weapons-related charges.
