A man was arrested following reports of a disturbance on Broadway Avenue last night.
At approximately 9:00 p.m., June 9, 2021, Patrol officers were dispatched to a call of a disturbance at Broadway Avenue and 10th Street East. Initial reports stated that a man was aggressively shouting at a group of individuals painting a crosswalk. It was also reported that the man was attempting to remove road barricades. Officers located the male suspect and, following investigation, charged him with causing a disturbance. He was released on an appearance notice. No one was injured during the incident.
The 71-year-old man from Quill Lake, SK is expected to appear in court November 24, 2021.
