A 41 year old male is facing charges of robbery with a firearm, obstruction of a police officer, several fail to comply with court orders and had warrants for his arrest after stealing a vehicle while brandishing a firearm.

This occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. yesterday in the 1400 block of 8 St E. The victim was not injured.

Police later observed the stolen vehicle in the 1500 block of 8 St E and approached it. The male suspect fled on foot and a Conducted Energy Weapon was deployed. The suspect was taken into custody.

This incident was not random as the victim and suspect were familiar with each other.
