Saskatoon Police have charged a 16 year old male for driving in excess of 100 km/hr over the posted speed limit.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. July 9, 2021, an SPS traffic unit clocked a vehicle at a speed of 192 km/hr. in a 90 km/hr. speed zone on Highway 16 just west of Zimmerman Road. The driver was issued a $1380.00 ticket and his vehicle has been impounded for 7 days.

Police would like to remind motorists to obey all traffic laws in order to arrive at their destination safely.
