The Saskatoon Police Service were called to an address in the 1700 block of 20 St W at 10:32 this morning for an assault.

Upon arrival, police located an injured female. She suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A 28 year old woman was charged with aggravated assault. The suspect and injured female were known to each other.

The suspect will see a Justice of the Peace later today or tomorrow.
