A 28-year-old man is facing charges after police found him to be in possession of several weapons yesterday afternoon.

Shortly before 1:30 p.m., July 11, 2021, police were responding to a report of an injured person in the 600 block of 29th Street West. A man was detained in relation to that investigation and as a result was found to be in possession of a collapsible baton, a knife, two cans of bear mace, a pellet gun, and fentanyl.

Further investigation did not locate an injured person.

The 28-year-old man is charged with Possession of Fentanyl and 10 weapons-related charges. He also had an outstanding warrant. (Court Info # 991166212, 991166211)
