Three people were arrested following a traffic stop yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 1:10 p.m., January 19, 2021, Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Avenue Q North. Police observed a wanted person inside the 1999 Ford Explorer and subsequently arrested the 40-year-old male driver on numerous outstanding warrants. A male passenger was arrested for obstruction after attempting to provide a false identity. Inside of his backpack, Police located bear spray, a conducted energy weapon (CEW), an imitation firearm, counterfeit money, methamphetamine and a scale. A female passenger was found in possession of bear spray, a CEW, a knife, a scale, 15g of methamphetamine and other evidence consistent with drug trafficking.

A 38-year-old woman is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x3) and Carry a Concealed Weapon (x3).

A 36-year-old man is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x3), Carry a Concealed Weapon (x3), Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Counterfeit Money, Obstruction and Breach of Release.
