Six people have been arrested and are collectively facing in excess of 100 charges following a weapons investigation that resulted in the execution of a search warrant.
On August 16, 2021 at approximately 1:00 p.m., members of the Guns & Gangs Unit, assisted by the Tactical Support Unit and Patrol, executed a search warrant at a target address in the 300 block of Avenue Q South. As a result of the investigation, Police seized two sawed-off firearms, one loaded and the other with readily accessible ammunition; a photo is attached.
