Two men and a woman are in custody following an incident where a driver evaded police and a gun was thrown from a vehicle earlier today.
At approximately 9:00 a.m., August 19, 2021, Police attempted to stop a Dodge Journey in the parking lot of a grocery store in the 300 block of Herold Road. It was believed the vehicle was stolen. The driver refused to stop and began evading police who witnessed a firearm being thrown from the vehicle while it traveled on Heritage Crescent. Officers then successfully utilized a tire deflation device and the vehicle came to a stop on Stillwater Drive. The three occupants fled the vehicle on foot, scaling fences and running through yards. One male was found nearby. The other man and woman were taken into custody on Circle Drive East near Boychuk Drive with assistance from a Corman Park Police Officer.
Charges are now pending against a 24 year old Prince Albert man, a 29 year old Montreal Lake man and a 29 year old Saskatoon woman.
