Four people were arrested early this morning following a traffic stop.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., January 21, 2021, Patrol officers observed a suspicious 2007 black Dodge Ram 1500. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of 8th Street East. An imitation firearm was located on the floor of the vehicle and four occupants were arrested for a firearms investigation. Two occupants provided false identities. Open alcohol, bear spray, cell phones, a scale and counterfeit cash were located inside the vehicle, along with over 60g of methamphetamine separated into individual packaging. Further drug paraphernalia was also located.

Three women, ages 40, 38 and 19, and a 38-year-old man are all charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking. Other charges includes firearms and weapons related offences, Fraudulent Personation and Breach of Probation.
