Saskatoon Police, including members of the Tactical Support Unit, were able to safely resolve a call involving weapons in the 80 block of Davidson Crescent this afternoon.
At approximately 2:20 p.m., August 27, 2021, Police received a report that a woman had sent a video showing that she was in possession of firearms and threatening to harm herself or others. Due to the possibility firearms were involved members of the Tactical Support Unit responded to the scene with the Armoured Rescue Vehicle. Officers were able to make contact with the woman and were able to take her into custody without incident at 3:00 p.m. A search of the home resulted in officers locating two replica firearms.
No one was injured during the incident.

Police are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident involving a weapon in the 80 block of Davidson Crescent. Members of the public may notice a heavy police presence and are asked to avoid the area at this time.
