The Saskatoon Police Service is on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision. Motorists are asked to avoid the area around the intersection of Highway #41 and Highway #5. Currently westbound lanes of Highway #5 are closed, and eastbound lanes are also restricted.

At approximately 1:46 p.m. police received a call regarding a collision involving a semi-trailer and a car. Emergency responders are on scene and the Collision Analyst Unit is investigating. Further details will be released when they are available.
