Saskatoon Police and the Saskatoon Fire Department are currently on the scene of a large fire at an acreage on 11th St W and Highway 7. It appears that a large number of bales were set on fire and it is believed it will take quite some time to extinguish. At this time, no buildings or structures are on fire.

The following traffic restrictions are in place. East bound traffic onto 11th St W from Highway 7 has been closed down. West bound traffic on 11th St W from Chappell Drive is closed .

Police are asking the public and motorist to avoid the area to allow Emergency Services to work safely.
