The date of the awareness walk is September 19, 2021.
Saskatchewan Missing Persons Week is from September 19 - 25, 2021.
This week also marks the one-year anniversary of Megan Gallagher's disappearance. To continue to raise awareness about Megan’s disappearance, and other missing persons, members of the media and community are invited to join Megan’s family as they walk from Joe Gallagher Field (located at 1535 Avenue P South) to the River Landing Amphitheatre, where Megan's family and other dignitaries will be speaking. The gates to Joe Gallagher Field open at 9:00 a.m., with the walk to commence at 10:00 a.m.
The community is also encouraged to follow SPS on social media for additional awareness and education activities throughout Saskatchewan Missing Persons Week.
