The Saskatoon Police Service Serious Assault Unit has laid charges in a stabbing that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., October 31, 2021, Patrol officers responded to a report that a person had been stabbed during an altercation in the 100 block of 24th Street East. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was located outside on the street and transported to hospital with serious injuries.

This incident is not believed to be random and a 22-year-old man has been charged with Aggravated Assault. (Court Info # 991178072).
