An 18 year old Saskatoon woman is facing charges following a report of an armed person causing a disturbance yesterday morning.

At approximately 9:30 a.m., December 6, 2022, Police were called to a building in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue South. They located the woman, who threatened officers with the knife. A conducted energy weapon was deployed but had no effect on the woman, who then threw the knife at officers. She was taken into custody at that time.

No one was injured. The woman is facing charges of Assault Peace Officer, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace and Breach of Undertaking. Court information #991181682
