One man is facing charges after an investigation by the SPS Drug Unit.
On December 17, 2021, members of the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit and Tactical Support Unit concluded a month-long investigation by executing a high risk search warrant on a home in the 100 block of Cartier Crescent. A male and female in their 30s were arrested, and following a search of the residence, police seized a rifle with a high capacity magazine, a homemade suppressor, and a handgun. Approximately 54 grams of cocaine packaged for sale were also seized, along with a small amount of cash. Attached is a photo of the seized items.
The 36-year-old man is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime, and 11 firearms-related charges. The woman was released without charges.
