Two men and a woman, all from Saskatoon, are facing a total of 26 charges following a holiday traffic stop yesterday.
Members of the SPS Traffic Unit were conducting the traffic stop at 33rd Street and Avenue I North at approximately 7:30 p.m. when they stopped a Dodge Journey. While checking for signs of impairment, the officers noticed a sawed-off firearm on floor of the passenger seat. A search of the vehicle also turned up ammunition and bear spray. The vehicle was seized and three occupants were taken into custody.
The men ages 36 and 19, and the woman, age 32 are facing charges including possession of weapons dangerous to the public peace.
