The Saskatoon Police Service have arrested a 30 year old man and charged him with two counts of break and enter related to a barricaded person in the 300 block of 4 Av S. More charges are pending, upon the conclusion of the investigation.
The Tactical Support Unit, Crisis Negotiators and Patrol were able to take the man into custody shortly before 1:00 p.m. today.
He was transported to hospital for assessment.
Traffic restrictions have been removed.

Police are reminding the public to avoid the area.

As such, 19 St between 3 Av and 4 Av has been closed to traffic.
Police are asking the public avoid the area. A news release will be sent once the restrictions have been lifted.
