Investigators with the Serious Assault Unit are searching for three suspects following an assault on a man yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 1:05 p.m., February 10, 2021, Patrol officers were dispatched to house in the 100 block of Avenue R North for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, a 52-year-old man was found suffering from serious but non-life threatening injuries and transported to hospital. It was reported that three suspects forced their way into the home and struck the man with a blunt object. The suspects fled in a four-door, burgundy-coloured car after robbing the victim of some belongings. The suspects and victim are believed to be known to each other.
The suspects are described as all being 20 to 30-year-old males, one of which is tall and slim, the second, much shorter with a brush cut and the third was wearing a long braid. Two of the suspects were wearing bandanas over their faces.
