A 27-year-old Saskatoon man is facing firearms related charges following an investigation by members of the SPS Guns and Gangs Unit.
On June 8, 2022 the Unit, along with members of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a search warrant at a home in the 300 block of Barber Crescent. It was believed firearms may be inside the residence. Several other people inside the home at the time were detained and later released. A search of the property resulted in officers locating a loaded shotgun, several other weapons including a machete, and ammunition. A photo is attached.
The man is charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Unsafe Storage.
