Members of the Major Crime, Serious Assault, Guns and Gangs and Forensic Identification Sections are investigating following reports of shots being fired and an injured male.

Police received the initial report at approximately 1:44 a.m. July 1, 2022. An injured man was reported to be in the 100 block of Ave P South.

Upon arrival to the 100 block of Ave P South responding officers located a 28 year old male injured male behind an apartment building. Investigators are currently on-scene.

The 28 year old male is being treated for his injuries at this time. He is in critical condition.
