A 34 year old Saskatoon man is facing charges following a dispute which turned into an aggravated assault.

At approximately 8:00 p.m., November 27, 2022 police were called to a home in the 400 block of Avenue T South. Upon arrival, they located an injured man who reported an altercation had taken place resulting in his stab wounds. Officers found that an altercation had happened involving several people. The 34 year old male had reportedly thrown a lawn mower at the 52 year old man and a 54 year old woman, striking the woman. The accused then stabbed the 52 year old man who is being treated for non life-threatening injuries. The woman suffered a minor injury.

The 34 year old man was taken into custody at the scene. While inside the telephone room in the SPS Detention Unit, officers witnessed him damage the phone, making it inoperable.

He is facing charges of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Mischief.
