A 32-year-old Saskatoon woman is facing a number of charges following an arrest by members of the Guns and Gangs Unit.
The officers were in the area of the 400 block, Avenue I South at approximately 12:45 a.m., December 15, 2022, when they witnessed a female who was known to them, breach her court conditions. Upon seeing the officers, the woman attempted to leave the scene. She was taken into custody and a search found her to be in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, a knife and bear spray.
She is facing charges including; Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace (x3), Carry Concealed Weapon (x2).
