Arrests - Robbery/Impaired Driving - Rusholme Road And Avenue S North

The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested three people in connection to robbery on Wednesday night.

On March 2nd, 2022, at approximately 10:15 p.m., police received the report of a vehicle theft in progress, near Rusholme Road and Avenue S North. It was reported that a cab driver had been assaulted, had his vehicle stolen, and had been hit by the vehicle. Upon arrival officers located the victim and he was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Three suspects had fled the scene.

With assistance from the SPS Air Support Unit, the vehicle was located in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West. A high-risk vehicle stop was conducted and three people were taken into custody. Officers found the driver, a 30-year-old woman was impaired by alcohol.

The 30-year-old woman is charged with Robbery, Impaired Driving, Dangerous Driving, Exceed .08, and Failure to Stop After an Accident.

A 37-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are charged with Robbery.
