Saskatoon Police are advising the public of a street closure due to drifting and blowing snow.

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Claypool Dr. are closed to all traffic between Hampton Gate and Airport Dr. at this time. Motorists and pedestrians are being asked to avoid the area.

Snow and wind are creating icy conditions on sections of Saskatoon streets and freeways. Motorists are being asked to slow down when approaching curves, intersections, and other vehicles. Allowing for extra stopping distance is also advised.
