The Saskatoon Police Service Economic Crime Section has charged two men, following a fraud investigation spanning two years.

On March 1, 2021, police received the report of falsified banking documents that were submitted with several mortgage applications, at a Saskatoon banking institution. The search warrants resulted in the seizure of more fraudulent documents, connected to mortgage applications, at several other financial institutions.
