Two males were quickly arrested following a report that they were in possession of weapons near two Saskatoon high schools.

On March 17, 2023 at approximately 12:30 p.m., police received information that two males believed to be armed with bear spray had departed a high school in the 2200 block of Rusholme Road towards a high school in the 400 block of Avenue M North. Responding officers quickly located and arrested the suspects outside of the second high school; they were found to be in possession of bear spray and an imitation firearm.

The two males from Saskatoon, age 14 and 15, will be charged with weapons-related offences.
