One man was arrested yesterday following reports of significant property damage.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., March 27, 2023, Patrol officers responded to a facility in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive for a weapons complaint. The caller reported that a man had become aggressive with staff and smashed the glass front doors of the facility with an ice pick. The complainant stated that the man attempted to assault a staff member with the weapon, but fled before anyone was injured.

Upon arrival, Police located the suspect walking down the middle of the street in the 300 block of Fairmont Drive. He was arrested without incident and believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant.

A 32-year-old man is charged with Mischief and Assault. He was also arrested on outstanding warrants.
