Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team have concluded investigation into the drug trafficking activities of a Neuanlage, SK woman.
On March 30, 2023 at approximately 1:00 p.m., officers conducted enforcement action on a woman suspected of trafficking cocaine. She was arrested without incident in the 1800 block of McOrmand Drive while conducting a drug trafficking transaction; the male involved in the transaction was also arrested.
Two search warrants executed on addresses in the 2000 block of St. Charles Avenue and 200 block of Lindsay Place resulted in the seizure of;
- 164.8 grams of crack cocaine
- 47.7 grams of powered cocaine
- $2,750 CAD
- Knife
- Multiple mobile phones
- Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
As a result, the 42-year-old woman has been charged with unlawfully trafficking a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000, possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, and uttering forged documents (x4). The 31-year-old Wilkie, SK man involved in the drug trafficking transaction was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and failing to comply with court-imposed conditions.
