The Saskatoon Police Service has arrested a 63-year-old man in connection to an assault that took place earlier this month.

On April 2, 2023, at approximately 6:45 p.m., police received the report of an assault that occurred in the 3500 block of Thatcher Avenue. The report indicated that a dispute had led to a 63-year-old man assaulting an 18-year-old man in a parking lot, in that area. Video of the incident had been obtained and verified by investigators.

As a result of the investigation, on April 10, 2023, the 63-year-old man turned himself into police at SPS Headquarters. He has been charged with Assault.
