Members of the Interpersonal Violence Section have completed an investigation into allegations regarding 69-year-old Saskatoon man.

On March 12, 2023, a woman attended to SPS Headquarters to report that her 13-year-old daughter had been sexually assaulted. It was said to have occurred on March 11, 2023 in the 200 block of Avenue M South.

Following the investigation, Police have charged a 69-year-old man with Sexual Assault. He was arrested on April 19, 2023 at SPS Headquarters and later released on a recognizance order.

The accused is set to make his first court appearance on May 24, 2023.
