Four people were transported to hospital after a patrol vehicle was involved in a collision with a civilian vehicle while responding to a call for service.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., May 30, 2023, a marked patrol vehicle was travelling northbound on Spadina Crescent with their emergency equipment activated. They were attempting to pass a civilian vehicle when it turned westbound onto Duke Street, resulting in a collision.

Both vehicles had two occupants, and all four were transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The SPS Collision Analyst Unit is investigating.
