Arrests - Drug Trafficking Investigation - Drugs, Guns, 3D Printers Seized

Members of the Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team have advanced a months-long drug trafficking investigation with the execution of a vehicle stop and search warrant.

On June 28, 2023, police conducted enforcement action on persons suspected of trafficking drugs. Following the execution of a vehicle stop in the 2900 block of McClocklin Road and search warrant in the 300 block of J.J. Thiessen Way, officers arrested five people and seized;

  • $2,434.85 CAD
  • 318.2 grams of methamphetamine
  • 385.1 grams of fentanyl
  • 23.5 grams of psilocybin
  • 1.81 litres of gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB)
  • 48 vyvanse pills (amphetamine)
  • 4 LSD pills
  • 10 temazepam pills (benzo)
  • Prohibited semi-automatic pistol, loaded magazine, additional ammunition
  • 12-gauge pump-action shot gun with flash suppressor
  • Bladed weapons (x2)
  • 3D printing machines (x3)
  • eCard printer with blank plastic cards to manufacture counterfeit identification
  • Digital scales (x2)
  • Mobile phones (x2)
  • Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking

As a result, two men, age 40 and 43, are facing numerous charges relating to drug trafficking, weapons, possession of the proceeds of crime, and failing to comply with court-imposed conditions. A 35-year-old woman was arrested on unrelated warrants. Two additional women were released without charges. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
