A traffic light standard has been repaired and traffic restrictions lifted following a collision earlier this morning at the intersection of Wanuskewin Road and 71st Street.
Police wish to thank motorists for their patience.
Police are attending to a collision involving a wide load semi-trailer which has taken down a traffic light at the intersection of Wanuskewin Road and 71st St. A City crew will be attending to repair the traffic light. Traffic is heavily congested, particularly for southbound traffic entering the city and motorists are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
An update will be provided upon removal of restrictions.
