An 18-year-old woman is facing charges after police responded to a weapons complaint on Saturday afternoon.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m., September 10, 2023, patrol officers responded to the 800 block of Avenue B North after a woman was seen carrying a firearm and bear spray. Responding police officers located the suspect in the 300 block of 29th Street West. Upon seeing police, the suspect attempted to discard an air soft pistol and a can of bear spray. She was arrested and transported to SPS Detention.

The 18-year-old woman is charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon (x2) and Carry Concealed Weapon (x2). (Court Info # 991243504).
