One man has been arrested after being found in unauthorized possession of loaded firearms yesterday.

On September 27, 2023 at around 3:00 p.m., the Guns and Gangs Unit with the assistance of Patrol arrested a man walking in the 400 block of Avenue U South in possession of two loaded sawed-off firearms, a large bladed weapon, and approximately 116 grams of suspected fentanyl.

As a result, the 28-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with unauthorized possession of a loaded prohibited firearm (x2), carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon (x3), and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
