A 22 year old Saskatoon woman is facing a charge of aggravated assault following an investigation by Patrol, the Serious Assault Unit and Major Crime Unit.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., October 15, 2023, Police received a report of an injured woman in the 500 block of Appleby Drive. The 21-year-old victim was found to be suffering from stab wounds and transported to hospital. Investigators learned that the woman had been at a party in a suite in the 700 block of Appleby Drive when the assault occurred. She then made her way to a neighbour's house who called Police. A search of the suite resulted in officers locating the 22-year-old accused woman.

The victim suffered serious injuries but has since been released from hospital.
