The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train will be stopping in Saskatoon today, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the CPKC railway overpass at 7th Avenue North.

As the event is expected to draw a large crowd, police are advising members of the public of traffic restrictions in the area. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. this evening, the following will be in effect;

• 33rd Street East will be closed between 6th Avenue North and 10th Avenue North.
• 7th Avenue North will be closed between Empress Street and Duchess Street.
• Side streets and alleys that connect to those roadways will also be closed.
• Temporary “no parking” signs will be in place in the residential area around the venue.

Traffic restrictions are expected to be removed at approximately 10:00 p.m. A police presence will exist within the area for the duration of the event to ensure public safety.
