Traffic restrictions have been lifted and members of the SPS Collision Analyst Unit continue to investigate following a fatal motorcycle collision on Sunday.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on June 23, 2024 police responded to a report of the collision in the 900 Block of Spadina Crescent East. Upon arrival, officers located the 41-year-old male driver suffering from what were believed to be life-threatening-injuries; he was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
After further investigation, it is believed the motorcycle was driving at a high rate of speed before it lost control and struck a guardrail and a light standard.
The Saskatoon Police Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate and any further updates will be provided when available.
