One female has been charged following an altercation on Tuesday.

At 9:45 p.m. on July 2nd, 2024, police were called to the 300 block of Confederation Drive for reports of a disturbance on city transit.

Arriving officers quickly located the suspect. Further investigations revealed the suspect got into a verbal confrontation with the victim before hitting her and threatening her. The victim was not seriously injured as a result of the assault.

As a result, the 49-year-old female was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.
